FanBridge is the leading provider of free email and mobile fan list management tools for musicians. Reverb Nation   Nomad Contributor Free Service
Reverb Nation offers a menu of great DIY online tools like TunePak, FanReach and Widgets that gives artists power to spread their music and information on the web and social networks. TunePak is a quick way to send your music thru a link to the media, venues, fans, and A&R people. FanReach is an email and fan management tool. Widgets allow you to embed your content on websites, blogs, social networks. When you change your widget and add a new song it updates every widget out there so only one update is needed. Many of these services like widgets and TunePak are free, if you want higher levels of services there is a reasonable fee they charge you.

Artist Data gives musicians a way to update information once and have it distributed across all their social networks, websites, profiles, tour materials and concert databases.
 
Nimbit  
Nimbit is a online software band management tool that offers a comprehensive sales, distribution, and promotion solutions. Nimbits storefront platform let’s you sell physical products such as CD, DVD’s and Merchandise and digital products like mp3’s throughout your websites and social communities. They can run your direct to fan sales or distribution to major e-tailers.  They have fan management marketing tools.  They offer some of their services for free or all of them for $19.95 a month. 
 
ArtistForce  
ArtistForce offers a web based platform and marketplace for live entertainment. It connects independent artists and entertainment buyers making it possible to receive and negotiate performance offers in real time. Artists can manage their show bookings, create performance agreements and act as their own booking representative. They have a limited free edition that give musicians 5 buyer connections a month. 
 
BandCentral  
BandCentral is online band management software for unsigned or self managed bands that launched in Feb 2009. The software has capabilities to keep a band calendar and message board, store files in one centralized place, act as gig manager, help with band promotion and fan management, update all social networks in one place, handle band finances and keep track of band to do lists. Some of the features you can get for free but to utilize all features they charge a monthly fee. They currently only show costs in British Pounds as based out of England. 
 
Next Big Sound   Free Service
Next Big Sound tracks how millions of fans interact with online music everyday. They track the number of plays, views, fans, comments, mentions and other key metrics for 400,000 plus artists across major web properties like Facebook, MySpace, Last.fm, twitter and more. It's free to use.  
 
Bandize  
Bandize helps bands take control of their careers by giving them an intuitive, simple way to organize. They have created an entire suite of DIY tools all available and packaged in one cohesive web application. Some of their major features include: band-specific accounting, tour booking, contact management, task assignments, and many more. 
 
Bandstand App   Free Service
Bandstand App is a free content and media management application for bands. Bands can log on and add News, Blogs, Press, Tour Dates, Photos, Videos and Status Updates. Automatically syncs this content with linked Myspace, Facebook Profiles and Fan Pages, and Twitter Accounts as well as YouTube (for video) and Flckr (for images). Looks like a very useful resource and is designed exclusively for bands to connect with their fans.      
 
iFanz  
iFanz lets you upload your current fan address book and provides a turnkey fan data base management system. Collect, store and manager fan emails and demographics. Announce shows, new CDs, merchandise or just keep in touch. They have a limited free sign up program but if you have over 100 fans they charge depending on the level of services you sign up for.  
 
Band Metrics  
Band Metrics is an online tool that allows bands, labels and managers to identify fans, measure social engagement, find hot markets, track radio plays, discover trends, gauge attitudes and get in-depth reports.  
 
Sound Cloud  
Sound Cloud is an online platform that takes the daily hassle out of receiving, sending, and distributing music for artists & record labels. They offer a variety of services from Track Storage, Private Sharing of Tracks, Stats on who is listening to the tracks, and Track Widgets. They have some basic free services and premium levels where they charge. 
 
Pleimo  
Pleimo.com, launched June 2010, is a platform from where artists and labels can manage basically everything they need in order to sell, organize and promote their content. Both bands and labels can sell music, music videos and e-tickets directly to fans, keeping 51% on music and video sales, and 80% on e-tickets sales. Sales are made direct to fans and the percentages are real and paid on a monthly basis. Besides this, bands and labels get access to a free management platform where to manage multi-user projects, band calendar, content sold, global GPS stats, shoot our SMSs, update social networks, manage their photolog and much more soon to come.
